Our approach

We think the understanding of universal design principles can only be done by connecting top professionals in an ongoing-process with the aim of identifying themes, setting goals, providing funds and distributing results through educational media for the benefit of the public. As facilitators, Cranmore Foundation sits at the heart of this process. Through its online collaborative Wiki, the Foundation seeks to bring interested people and organisations together to begin a dialogue and explore the potential for the creation of wisdom-based sustainable values and principles.

Participate

Cranmore Foundation has identified the potential of universal design principles contained in wisdom traditions and began a fledgling process of research, study and discussion with scholars and business people in 2008. Although we are inspired by the results of our initial efforts, the notion of what these principles are, how they work and how they can be effectively used for sustainable systems need more time, effort and reflection—in partnership with leaders, thinkers, scholars and practitioners of wisdom traditions.

Help develop the work

We welcome the contribution of individuals, organisations and businesses interested to help develop this work. We invite suggestions on how to advance this effort and are happy to share the fruits of initial efforts with persons and organisations who would like to initiate pilot projects to apply these universal values. If you are interested to participate in research, contribute to the Wiki, or want more information on how to get involved, please take a moment and fill in the short-form below.
